Danielle Adair

Danielle Adair is an artist and writer. Her work has appeared in solo exhibitions at Pitzer College Art Galleries, Akademie Schloss Solitude (Stuttgart), Human Resources Los Angeles, among others. She is the author of five artist books, including From JBAD: Lessons Learned (Les Figues Press) based on her time as “embedded media” with forces in Afghanistan, and the creator of Caution Baum, her experimental opera, which premiered at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart. Currently, Adair is a PhD Candidate in Performance Studies at Stanford University.
