Ruth Kaplan

Ruth Kaplan is an Assistant Professor of English at Quinnipiac University and a specialist in sixteenth- and seventeenth-century poetry and prose.  Her research focuses on the intersection of humanism and colonialism, and the ways that those ideologies shaped contemporary poetics and philosophies of reading.
